Lovely hotel but very little to do. With all guests spending time at the spa there was no beds by the pool. Food was delicious but overall the experience was too expensive compared to its value.

Lovely luxury stay

Gorgeous stay. Beautiful spa (but make sure you book any treatments in advance as it’s busy) and a good gym. Breakfast is honestly the best I’ve ever had, so much choice and high quality ingredients. The staff are all wonderful.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Staff & service
On arrival the desk staff (4 of them) didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in. The one that eventually did was very helpful. The room and facilities were good although when you book a room for 3 it isn’t rocket science to work out that you will need 3 cups, coffee pod, robes, etc. One of the 2 robes in the room was badly ripped and unusable. Food in the bar was good but service was very poor and we felt like a nuisance rather than a guest paying these prices per night. Very poor. Spa was nice after locals with young children had left (hotel should publish child hours ahead of booking ) although staff at the spa were very poor in terms of helpfulness. Overall a nice hotel let down by its staff. It could be sooo much better. If you are after instagram posts this hotel is for you, but if you are after good service then this hotel is not.

Lovely hotel, grounds and food

It’s a beautiful hotel with a lovely pool/spa area too. We stayed in a Treehouse Room which was lovely but 3 floors was a bit of a pain, wouldn’t stay in that room type again but happily at the hotel. Food and drink was also excellent.
