"Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. The staff are very pleasant and helpful The room was spacious and very clean ,there was a very good iron and a excellent hairdryer available in the room . There are at least 2 maybe more very comfortable sitting areas available for guests to avail of if weather was not good"

"Hotel was in a lovely setting right on the river.It did have bad reviews but dont take any notice of them .The room was spotless and well equipped and overlooked the river .We had dinner there and food was good the only slight issue is the menu which should have a few more normal dishes but apart from that it was good as was the breakfast served looking out at the river.Parking was no problem loads of room.We will be going back later this year."
