"I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! "

"I came with my friend to celebrate her special Birthday. Couldn’t fault anything. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and our room was comfortable, especially our beds!!!"

"Lovely hotel, great reception and room service staff. Friendly and very helpful. We had a king size courtyard room which was clean and had a fridge and kettle. Bed was comfortable and shower worked well. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Parking available at hotel but limited or car park at the Mount School which always had spaces. The walk into York took about 25 minutes. Only small criticism was the bar ran out of drinks including sauvignon white wine. Other than that...

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all. The flat is a funny layout. We slept in the main room which is at the front of the flat and the kids room is...
