"Beautiful property. Very central location. Lovely, romantic courtyard. We did not have a top sheet on our bed during our stay, thought I asked for one, only a duvet. But it was too warm to use a blanket or sheet anyway! Hospitable staff."

"I have stayed here many times and it never disappoints!! It’s a beautiful, charming yet updated hotel. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are large, the bathroom is modern. The courtyard is beautiful, the pool is very nice. And of course the location can’t be beat!! It is my absolute favorite place to stay. Parking is on site and reasonable for the area. The front desk and valet staff have always been very friendly. Very cool, historical NOLA vibe!!"

"Beautiful historical property that is well-maintained. Lovely courtyards & the overnight/early AM receptionist was super helpful & knowledgeable about the property and its history. It’s true what is said ab the noise on the street-facing balcony rooms, but that is going to be every hotel in that area. "I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"First time in New Orleans and this hotel was perfect. Very elegant and centrally located to everything you want to do in the French Quarter. Only downside is the rooms are on the smaller side but everything about this hotel was great. Will definitely be staying here next time I visit"

"There were several instances where I had to constantly call to verify that our room would be cleaned. The first night, no one came to clean the room despite calling the front desk and getting “next” on the room clean. When they finally came, they only replaced towels and made the bed. Sheets were not changed, there were still water marks on surfaces that we were told were “clean.” The iron and ironing board were still out. Trash was not cleared out of the room.
