"The room was clean and the staff was very pleasant. There were a lot of food options in walking distance of the hotel. The reason for four stars (1) the bathroom was small (2) continental breakfast was meh! Powdered eggs and processed sausage patties; but there was fruit, cereal and oatmeal. Also coffee with creamer. So one could find something to eat there before going out for the morning. I liked this place for a quick couple of days. Lots of parking. "

"I felt like I walked into the movie Home Alone with the decor of this place. Dirty and grimy with the walls falling apart everywhere in the room and outside. I could handle outdated if it was clean but it was so disgusting. If we could have gone elsewhere, we would have just left. The sheets had stains all over that looked like blood. The carpet was sticky. It smelled like a combo of body odor and mold. Not to mention the TV didn’t even work most of the time. Even after calling down to the front...

"Good value for the money (paid less than $100 per night), clean, bed was comfortable, didn't like the pillows but YMMV, bathroom fixtures showing age but still functional, less than one hour drive to downtown Chicago when traffic is moving, fast food option right nearby and all kinds of food available within a 15 minute drive. Would stay here again on a return trip."
