"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"We had a really lovely stay. The apartment is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of both York city centre and the train station. Despite being so close to the station, it was surprisingly quiet and we couldn't hear the trains at all.
The apartment is in a modern, well-maintained building and was beautifully decorated throughout. There were four of us staying, and it felt spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay.

"Nice room clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Staff friendly nice bar and lounge. Breakfast was lovely good choice and prompt service. Carpark was full but free parking in road outside of hotel so we were able to park up for two days. Lovely gardens at front of hotel with seating. We are definitely going to be returning next year. A real gem.
