"I have stayed here twice before and found this a hidden gem but the latest time was the worst. The hotel is undergoing major renovations and half the place is under construction. It is also double the price I paid compared to just 4 years ago and is the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed. The TV didn't work, the alarm went off at 6am,qnd they strictly enforce the 4pm check in. $600+ a night? I think I am done with Banff. It will be a victim of its own success."

"The parking was hard to find initially and also the hot pool was far from our stay. Overall the experience was ok compared to the amount I spent. I might would not prefer to go again!!"

"To be honest the best part of the stay was the breakfast. The hotel room was dirty, needed to have housekeeping coming in and pass the vacuum through the room."

"The location was great and the staff was excellent. We used the shuttle bus daily, thank you Buffalo Mountain Lodge that provided us with the shuttle passes. The restaurant and bar was our nightly retreat especially after our long days of hiking. We will definitely be back."

"We booked our room as a king room. When we got to the property, we were told they upgraded us. After wandering around (it's difficult to find rooms) we found our "upgraded" room. It was very outdated, extremely small and had a spiral staicase to get to our bed. We are in out 60's and were to say the least not thrilled with this. Went to the front desk to say this is unacceptable. After having to get a little upset about this as were were staying for 5 days and could not manuver this...

"The room is so dusty, dark, very old appliances and tv(not even smart tv) and it smells old and smoky. Also the carpet is so old and dirty, not enough kitchen utensils and bathroom stuff, we woke up in the morning the whole room covered with black dust who knows where it’s coming from.
