"Our family of 5 stayed 5 nights and we loved it. The stay was a lovely departure from the usual luxury hotels. Tatami mats everywhere and the staff truly try to embody Omotenashi (Japanese hospitality). All the staff made a real effort to speak with us. The lounges on each floor are equipped with lots of treats. You can tell the staff truly cares about your stay, with Miyo, in particular, spending time with our family to explain things to us, as this was our first visit to Japan. It is a quirky...

"It's very close to the bus station, so it was perfect for getting there. The staff are very attentive and offer many amenities. What we didn't like was that when we checked out, they charged us an extra fee for “use of the bathroom,” although the staff said it was a charge for being foreigners, which makes no sense. They should have warned us about this when we made the reservation."
