"This inn is beautifully restored! The furnishings and details are amazing! Breakfast was delicious and the cookies, wine, and charcuterie in the evening were a nice added touch. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Parking lot is a added plus."

"Victorian hotel with ocean views. Right across the street from the ocean. Open your windows at night and listen to the ocean and let it ease you into sleep. Take a short walk to Lover’s Point, the beach or dining. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Can’t wait to return"

"We were initially going to stay in downtown Monterey. So glad we stayed at this Pacific Grove property instead. Area is quiet, woodsy. We saw deer each morning and evening. The walk to the ocean, where you see magnificent sunsets when it's not too cloudy, is only about 3 blocks. Not a lot of restaurants to walk to, but a lot of nature to immerse yourself in. Property is bungalow-style. I was nervous that maybe the rooms were super tiny because there's no square footage included on the site, but...

"The room was nice and we were in a great location. The place was filled with men visiting for car week, but most of the time they weren’t revving their cars and being obnoxious. Other than that, the place was quiet and nice. Although the manager told me they had no ice bucket or glasses, when we arrived, we discovered there were both. It was convenient for us to get more coffee and ice. "

"We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place and we found that at Deer Haven. Asilomar Beach was a close walk or drive and park. Our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, hear the ocean at night with window open and the fireplace was wonderful as the mornings had just enough chill to use and enjoy with our coffee. Also met other nice travelers outside in the common area."

"Super ruhige Lage und nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Strand. Dort konnten wir sogar vom Ufer aus Buckelwale beobachten. Personal super freundlich. An der Rezeption bekommt man kostenlos Wasser, Tee, Kaffee und Kakao. Den Toaster kann man dort ebenfalls nutzen um sich mitgebrachten Toast zuzubereiten. Schöner, sauberer Pool und Whirlpool. Nie überfüllt. Insgesamt gepflegte Anlage. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten."
