Parking is appreciated; handicap parking should be free;$25 per night is high perhaps a discount for those with placards. Bath tub backed up @ first use but it was promptly taken care of. Thank you."

"Maintenance needs to be done on balconies and some bathrooms. There is wood rot on patios and in our bathroom. The toilets were damn near on the floor. I suggest updating."

"We enjoyed our stay at Olympia Lodge. The location was especially good. We were close to attractions in Monterey and Pacific Grove. We were a very short drive to the downtown of Pacific Grove and many restaurants. One challenge was parking in the hotel lot. There was not enough space and it did fill up. The room was comfortable and clean. It did seem to have had some updates although it was not a new building. We would stay again. "

"This property is the dream stop for those who love the Victorian aesthetic. It is like being inside a kaleidoscope of leaded glass! Persian carpets, well- upholstered furniture, glass chandeliers, Belle Epoque sculptures, Grecian columns, ceilings with decorative moldings, complete the interior ambiance. Add to all this the location, overlooking the Pacific Ocean edged in cypress trees, visible from most spaces. On the other hand, know that for the fairly high price, you will most likely get a tiny room and a serviceable, but not luxuriously appointed bathroom. Breakfast, again serviceable but not extraordinary, is provided in the extraordinary dining room. At check-in, you will be greeted with wine or champagne while you enjoy the view from the lobby, and you can feast on a cookie before bedtime."
