The heaters are very old wall style gas heaters with a pilot light. The first night, one of the two in our room wasn’t working. Some came quickly to light it. All night, I was awoken by clanging from the heaters, not to mention the alarm from seeing the flame and surprise to see such heaters in a hotel in 2025. The second night, the control panel had lost power and the second heater’s pilot light was out again. Both issues were fixed, although I had to change our evening plans to wait for the repair to explain the situation. There were also no blankets in the room. Upon checkout, I complained of the heaters being dangerous, loud, and needing to be repaired both nights. This person asked why I didn’t use the provided space heaters and said they are meant to be the primary heat now. I said that no one told me that, plus I wasn’t comfortable leaving space heaters on at night, especially with my children present. He remarked that space heaters are safer than the gas wall heaters. So, don’t stay here unless you like two dangerous and loud options for heat. I don’t think there was any AC, although box fans were provided. The hotel is older and has almost no counter space for storing items. It was the smallest shower stall I have ever seen in my life, and even my child remarked that a larger person wouldn’t fit in it. This is one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced.
