"Nasty little man one morning at the desk. Older, sour. The rest of th time front was staffed by helpful professionals. Property is very old but well maintained. PLease note: the Amadeus is right on the main drag from the train station. These is howver, a nice little garden at the enter of the property. Very convenient if you're using Venice S. "This hotel is in an excellent location. The surrounding area is a little noisy, because you are so close to San Marco, which is a very busy area. However, you are also at an optimal location to get to and from Rialto, San Marco, Castello, and Canneregio neighborhoods very quickly. If you are arriving via San Marco vaporetto stop, you only have to cross one bridge with luggage, which is a huge help. The staff I interacted with were all very kind, professional and helpful.
