"Everything was nicely laid out ,the room was lovely,the staff were helpful and friendly and there was a working lift which helped a lot as we were on the second floor.All in all a very enjoyable weekend break."

"Not as good as last year. They now charge £10per night for parking which was free last year. We were told the bar was closed at 12am on the Friday night, it was open all night last year. On the Saturday night it was still open at past midnight so there seems to be a bit of inconsistency. We had the same issue with food last year when we were told it would take an hour but we ordered anyway and it turned up about 20 minutes later, I think they were trying to discourage us from ordering "

"Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent in the hotel. Also had the Sunday roast and that was lovely. Superb setting and facilities.. indoor and outdoor pool."

"Hotel had a welcoming man at desk. Nice lounges but we had our little dog with us, so unfortunately couldn’t use facilities. Room was large with amazing views, bathroom in need for an upgrade. Position was perfect to leisurely stroll into St Ives. "

"The hotel is in a great location at the northern end of Newquay's main street, with numerous good restaurants within easy walking distance, and easily accessible parking out the front as well as around the corner from the hotel. The hotel staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. They provided us with a few local recommendations when requested. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped. "A last minute stay, room was outdated and in need of some TLC. Disappointed as no water on a hot day (27c) or biscuits or chocolate drink as this is usually the standard for most these days. I dont think the menu has changed much since we last visited. Love the area with plenty to do and see. "

"It was comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly. In sn excellent spot 5 mins walk from the beach. Only downside was when we were there they had a party of school aged children staying so the dining room was not open to us oand guests like us which meant having to search for somewhere to have breakfast or eat in our room. A mini fridge in the rooms wouldve been a great addition"

"Good location..... the room was very noisy as it was above the beer garden.Single glazed windows noise untill the early hours of the morning..loud swearing from the yokels !!!!"

"It was shocking to arrive to the front portion of the property with donut vendors, Wallace & Gromit shows and various selfie stations. The hotel in behind this was lovely. We opted to hike the area continuing along the Coastal path to Sennen. "

"The only downside were the parking facilities. Only 3 spaces. However, apart from that everything was excellent. The food quality and quantity, the friendly staff, the room and facilities were all excellent. Highly recommended."
