"When I arrived very early, they made my check in so easy and let me have the room well before lunchtime no extra cost. The food was excellent. I had breakfast and evening meal there. Food quality, and price was good. Room was very comfortable. Very clean shower and towels were nice. Highly recommend it would definitely stay there again."

"The view and setting really made the trip and the staff were so lovely, kind and helpful! Watching the sunset each evening outside on the rocks was glorious. The complementary breakfast was really great, fresh baked croissants and a list of hot options. The rooms were clean and basic but just want was needed really. The location was fantastic for some great walks and sightseeing. I really enjoyed our 2 nights there and would go back."

"We are a family of 4 (kids 8 and 11) staying in a room set up as a family room - double bed and the kids sharing a sofa bed. The room was snug but really good. Each room is 3 old cells knocked into 1, with the bathroom taking up 1/3 or of the room. The bathroom was really good and enormous. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. "Absolutely fantastic experience. We were very late to check in after an evening golf round ran late and the owner was there waiting for us personally. Rooms are excellent and view of the harbor is amazing. Owner is also an executive chef so we dined there one night and is was incredibly good. Must stay if you’re in Newquay!"

"Lovely hotel. We stayed in a room in the building next to the hotel. Had a lovely evening meal one night. Nice breakfast but the only niggle was that they did run out of a couple of items ar our last breakfast"

"You can kinda tell it used to a hostel and all they basically did was shut the bar and swap the bunkbeds out for cheap doubles to try and remarket themselves as a hotel. Cleaners were brilliant and friendly but it all needs a facelift."

"I really enjoyed staying in this peaceful cottage, this is the second time I have stayed here. I slept very well in the comfy four poster bed and it's lovely not being troubled by light pollution. The coastal path is very close, and also a beautiful walk through the wooded valley to the waterfall. I had the option of using the log burner but found the cottage was cosy enough. There is lots to see and do in the area, but I chose to walk from the cottage every day, sketchbook in hand. I hope...
