"Nice hotel really close to the beach, but our room had a balcony that faced the pool and parking lot and beyond the parking lot fence homeless people. Not a great view and thus didn't motivate us to use the balcony. The bed was very comfortable but our room was the first room in a hallway with a security door, and so we heard everyone coming and going through the door. Couldn't get the tv to work but had many other activities so ended up not asking front desk what was wrong. Bathroom has a...

"Just up in Santa Barbara for a graduation. The room we had met our needs. It was clean and bright and located close to the beach. No real extras, but clean and neat."

"Location is great, couple blocks back from the beach and some excellent restaurants on State street. It’s smaller which is nice with all open halls to capitalize on the great weather. Really great layout with the second floor courtyard offering shaded seating. Great trip with a great base camp at La Playa. "

"The property is an older small motel that has had a well done interior remodel. The outside could use some attention but that is not significant to my rating. 2 items which are easily fixed could have raised the rating with nearly no effort on the part of Town and Country. There is no way to determine if they are different on your stay so, pack a roll of you preferred toilet paper and a small bottle of your shampoo. "I like the Franciscan Inn because it’s clean, rooms are spacious, nice location, it’s quiet, staff is accommodating, comfortable beds, the fresh baked cookies, free breakfast, etc. 10/10. "

"The staff was super helpful and friendly. The amenities, including laundry, pool, gym, and the impressive continental breakfast, surprised me. My family felt safe in this space, and the rooms were spotless. The area was close to shopping and food. We walked to a place called Noodle City, which was terrific. A good amount of security is available. "
