"No hot or warm watt"

"Room was very dusty. Worst of all two lower shower tiles were absent exposing rotten wood and a six inch spindly seedling was growing from the rotted wood, despite all windows being blocked by plywood. We found the day staff to be rude. The faucet wasn’t properly installed, no bath mats or hand towels. Expect nothing from this place. No effort was made to maintain the room we were in. They certainly do a good job advertising their best room in pictures, but it is false advertising for room 26....

"Fan in room was caked in dust and there were stains on some of the sheets and duvets. Staff were very helpful and the public space was nice."

"Gute, für Londoner Verhältnisse günstige Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten eher schmal, aber ausreichend. Das breitere der beiden Betten war für zwei Personen gedacht, hatte aber nur eine Decke. Es war aber kein Problem eine weitere zu bekommen. Es gab rund um die Uhr gratis Kaffee, Tee und Milch. Bushaltestellen sind gleich in der Nähe, U-Bahn-Stationen sind 7-10 Min weg. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt es auch in direkter Umgebung. Leider lag in der Strasse sehr viel...

"The room was clean and neat. Wish there was a lift to get to upstairs. The stairs were very narrow so it was hard to get my suitcases getting up and down."

"The room was adequate for 2 of us, would be very cramped for 3, limited space for clothes. Clean towels every day, which wasn't really necessary. Very quiet street, despite being so central. Receptionist was the rudest man I have met, he must have watched Fawlty Towers thinking it was a training video for hotel managers. Very narrow stairs might be a problem for older guests with heavy luggage."

"We were allowed to check in a little early and the location was great but everything else was very bad. The room was dirty, especially the carpet which wasn't even on the photos. The walls were cracked. The shower was clogged and dirty. There was no place to put a suit case and no hangers or anything for your clothes. When we asked the reception for toilet paper and a towel later in our stay, they juat asked if we didn't already have it."
