"Lapa is very nice and quiet neighborhood of Lisbon, no surprise many embassies chose Lapa. Hotel is a former palace, so they kept the style and ambiance. Probably not a preferred place for younger folks, but we loved it a lot"

"Loved it! A bit dark inside the actual hotel but the room was perfect for a girls trip. We did the family suite with two bedrooms. The suite was super spacious. We loved the location because it wasn’t in the middle of everything but a quick walk to coffee etc. "

"Had a wonderful break at Wine & Books. Everything was exactly as I’d hoped it would be from looking at the website. Staff were lovely - kind and attentive but not too in your face. Room was really comfortable. I’m a very light sleeper so the blackout curtains and super-quiet room were brilliant. Oh, and big shout out for the spa. Had a great massage from a lady who couldn’t speak any English (and my Portuguese is non-existent) but she didn’t need to. Perfect service. Thank you."

"It was difficult to get any service or help on the weekend. We were out of toilet paper and couldn't find anyone to help. We had to go buy some. Too expensive to be ghosted like that. Never again."

"The place is cozy and well situated, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Note to others, this hotel is located on a pedestrianized cobblestone street up a hill. Be prepared to walk. To me, that just added to the charm."

"Wir können das Hotel Mercure Lisboa Almada zu 100% empfehlen! Der Empfang war super freundlich, das Zimmer absolut TOP, das Frühstück herausragend und das Personal super nett und hilfreich! Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass die Metro in der Nähe war und wir dann gut mit der Fähre nach Lissabon fahren konnten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen! Vielen Dank an das tolle Team vom Mercure Lisboa Almada! Podemos recomendar 100% o Hotel Mercure Lisboa...

"A acomodação é excelente. Blindagem acústica. Ar condicionado funcionando bem. Utensílios de cozinha novos. Chuveiro excelente. Check-in fácil e sem problemas. Limpo e confortável. Localização boa para você ir para o norte e o sul de Lisboa. Mercados e restaurantes perto, mas não fica na barulheira boêmia. Tudo certo!"

"The service at Dear Lisbon is above and beyond - the staff really want you to feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, wine was very good, and the beds were comfortable. The only drawback is the rooms are quite small and there is little noise insulation. Earplugs helped with the noise and otherwise we had a wonderful stay. "

"The balcony was delightful because you looked out over gardens full of orange trees, bougainvillea, and flowers. The apartment was small but worked for us. Plenty of storage places for clothing and suitcases. The windows and door to the balcony were solid and easy to operate. A gem. Highly recommend. "
