"The location is great and the living room is quite cosy. However, the general condition is quite shabby and could use some maintenance, the shower pressure was very low. Also, the advertised 'free pick-up' is not included, they use COVID as a reason when asked, but I think they should update the listing to reflect that because honestly it was a selling point for us. "

"L'hébergement est très bien situé, à 5 minutes de marche de station Santa Apolonia (bus, métro, train) super pratique. Il y a une épicerie dans la gare. Le quartier est tranquille et à 10 minutes de marche de Alfama. Très propre, quelques assaisonnements fournis ainsi que savon et café pour 2 matins. Espace parfait pour 4. Le divan-lit est très inconfortable et bruyant. Et je suggère de mettre des coussins sous les pattes des chaises. On entend même les chaises des autres logements sur le plancher de béton."

"Great stay overall! The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining how everything works. There are some stairs to climb up to get to your room. The room has everything you'd need and more than enough space to open up your suitcase. Clean room and comfy bed."

"Room was clean, Staff where helpful and talkative. Bathroom and kitchen where daily cleaned. Hostel is located on the top two floors. which is like 3 flights of stairs. Minus the fact that the other guests where being rude to the staff, talking to loudly and not knowing how to close doors quietly. My stay with fine."

"Lovely boutique hotel. Limited number of rooms. Beautiful and comfortable room. Tile everywhere. Romantic and peaceful. The lady who ran the hotel was so nice. If you want peaceful quiet comfort away from the noisy, trendy areas yet near architectural wonders and history, then this is the place."

"Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location. Alfama is the old part of town, meaning you’re a little bit away from the main commercial square, but we found it easy to walk down to the commercial area and take a cab back. Alfama also has steeper hills and narrow winding paths, so something to consider if you have any mobility issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here."
