Koh Kret Kid friendly Holidays

Big resort hotel, sadly mostly empty of people. It was probably a luxury resort back in the 1980s, but now the place looks and feels very dated. That said the exterior is well maintained and the large swimming pool excellent! Good view of the bridge from their viewing pontoon and only a short walk to reach it to cross. Breakfast was ok, but the restaurant didn't appear to be open so we had to go elsewhere for dinner. Only 2 bottles of water in the room too - we had to buy more at a nearby 7/11!

Clean modern great place to stay near great restaurants

The hotel looks very nice, situated just next to the train station. There is a 7/11 just in front of the hotel. Worth more than what I paid off. Staffs are so friendly. The room and dining area were so nice and comfortable. I will definitely stay in here again as well as trying other branches managed by UHG

Property was generally nice. Restaurants were good but a bit overpriced in my opinion probably due to the location as there is literally nothing else convenient for dining. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great sports facilities for tennis, racquetball, weights and other activities made it nice. Overall a good property but again just somewhat isolated.

My wife and I stayed for 8 nights at the Centara Grand and it is a beautiful hotel. The staff is exceptional and service is first class.

This hotel will be a wonderful place to stay AFTER they finish their renovations in September 2026. Right now, the place is a mess. Things are not well marked. The BIGGEST thing for us was that the sky bridge to the airport is no longer accessible from the hotel (which used to take like 2 minutes to go from the hotel to the airport). Now, you have to take a 15 minute shuttle to the airport, and ours left 5 minutes late this morning. Will we stay here again? Yes... but ONLY after the renovations are done.

A lovely hotel and truly amazing staff. There are some upkeep issues here and there, but the river view was stunning. The restaurant is great to have as well. The jacuzzi room was very large and mattress was soft and comfortable. I was on 5th floor and the view from my room was just perfect. The fitness center needs some work and updating. Just a few weights, one bench, elliptical, and bike (treadmill was out of order), but it was fine for a quick trip. Location is very close to lots of restaurants, bars, massage, etc. About a 30 min walk to bridge and 15 mins to nearest train station. I would definitely stay here again. The staff is extremely helpful and kind.
