"We found this to be a great location for our daily excursions. Our room overlooked a canal and had taxi and bus stops right outside. We enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Venice and felt we were in the pulse of the city. We loved waking to the sounds of the city coming alive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. "I really don't understand the positive reviews. The Alloggi Olimpia is "part of" the Hotel Olimpia but really not. There is no lift to room. Once you take the hotel olimpia elevator you have to go down weird back stairs and hallways that stench of trash. It was so bad I felt sick to my stomach walking to and from the room.
