"This place was amazing. The room was big and we had a beautiful view on the back forest. We had two choices of Onsen (outside and inside) and both were very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond for us. Because there was not of other guest, we were able to have one side of the Onsen for us instead of being separated man and woman. "The room was decorated very nicely with quite a decent amount of space. They would give free soba noodles from 9:30-11:00pm and free drinks,soda and coffee. The onsen was very crowded with people. You could get complimentary ice cream at night and Yakut in the morning. Also, parking was relatively limited"

"Die Lage "im Wald" ist toll, man ist fast wie selbst draussen im Wald! Die Bauweise ist mit viel sichtbarem Holz und in klaren Linien gehalten. "The futon’s aren’t very thick so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re a side sleeper. Other than that our stay was great. The owner, Yudai, is incredible and has an excellent sense of hospitality. When I come to Hakone again this place will be at the top of my list. "
