"This is a very cozy motel on a very charming street. Prime location to the train station and the Castle. The staffs are warm and helpful. We love the breakfast! The only thing I complain is we booked room 2 from Expedia for higher charge because its description stated it has a king size bed. However, the room is also labeled as a double room and there is no king size bed. I hope Expedia's description is more accurate!"

"The staff make the Bell - we were warmly welcomed on checking in, and bar/restaurant service was friendly and efficient too. The room and dinner were both good value and good quality. We’ll look out for Greene King inns on future trips, as this was a very good and enjoyable experience all round. "

"Our go-to hotel if we need somewhere to stay before a Heathrow flight. The staff are all very friendly, food is excellent (both dinner and breakfast), plentiful parking. We stayed in an executive room this time - we liked the extra space and would book this again. Last time we were there we were helping some friends who had suffered a tragedy that day, and I managed to knock over a large G&T. "Jeg bestilte rommet på kort varsel, samme dag. Pris og standard gav valutta for pengene. I tillegg til et hyggelig rom, med stort bad og kaffe/te, var det en god restaurant. Spiste maten ved elvebredden. Det finnes også varmelamper som tennes om kvelden når det blor kjølig. Personalet var vennlige og imøtekommende. Stor frokostmeny samt frukt, yoghurt og frokostbalnding. Kort spasertur til sentrum. "

"We have stayed here before and it is ideally located for family visits. The staff were excellent and the room was above expectations. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed. One word of warning - if you want to eat dinner here make sure to book well ahead as it gets very busy (not surprisingly)"
