"We liked everything. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for us. So friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent too, very clean and comfortable. Thank you YHA York."

"Room was very clean, bedding well organized. Ease of access to the building and room. Would recommend anyone to stay when traveling on a budget."

"The property was nice and clean and the staff member was fabulous."

"Absolutely wonderful reception, honestly the comfiest bed I've ever slept in away from home, and the shared facilities were excellent."

"Wonderful, warm welcome. Room very comfortable. Few tweaks needed - drawers not easily accessible, hanging space a bit high. Wonderful shower - walk-in, such a treat as most hotels have showers inaccessible to anyone with any mobility issues. Surprisingly quiet even though on main road. Great for a couple of nights"

"Great quirky hostel, with everything you need."
