"Many thanks to Frederico and staff for a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia! Everyone was so helpful with directions and recommendations. There is a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices and lovely pizzeria where we went for a lovely dinner. The breakfast served was very substantial. Clean rooms with modern bathroom. "This is not a hotel it's a guest host without a reception desk and a three flight walkup, which can be very challenging with luggage. The building is run down and a bit dirty, it's in need of plaster repair and paint. However, the worst part is since there is not a front desk, if you need to contact someone right away you will be out of luck! You can email them but you won't get an immediate response and if you call the number provided, nobody answers the phone. Our GPS was not guiding us...
