"We never went to a elacart due people can book online prior to getting to hotel so people who never been there have no chance to go to a meal, no people around the pools asking for drink orders ,having to pay to see some of the shows is not all inclusive resort, the prices at the gift shop are very high also,having one room key is inconvenient "

"I stayed at Copal Tulum Hotel for four days and overall had a great experience. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a relaxing jungle vibe that makes it easy to unwind. The cenote on the property was definitely a highlight—such a unique and wonderful feature. The yoga sessions were a 10/10, and the on-site photographer was also excellent. The food at the restaurant on the property was really good as well—everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. Transportation arrangements were smooth and well accommodated, which made getting around much easier. The staff truly made a difference in my stay. Max was especially pleasant, kind, and very helpful, and Johnny was also incredibly supportive throughout my visit. The only downside was that the door was sometimes difficult and inconvenient to lock and open. I also purchased an upgraded room, which did not meet my expectations, it felt a bit small base on what is shown. Overall, despite a couple of minor inconveniences, I would absolutely stay here again. "

"While you can easily visit nearby resorts, keep in mind that some are understaffed and can feel a bit chaotic. The dining situation is hit-or-miss; many of the advertised dinner spots are underwhelming, and the premium restaurants are often restricted to "gold" members, making it nearly impossible to snag a reservation despite what you're told. The beach is quite rocky, but it features a lovely natural pool with crystal-clear water that's perfect for swimming with fish. As for the rooms, the "old area" is definitely showing its age. Don't expect a deep clean there—the furniture is dated, and our experience was marred by mold in the shower and a bathtub with disgusting residue in the jets. So its up to you to judge Akumal now!!! Despite some drawbacks, the location is great. If you are flying into Tulum Airport, be sure to book your shuttle directly through the hotel, as Expedia doesn't include transportation and you'll have to pay extra. While we didn't visit the city itself to see the local life, the ruins are absolutely incredible and a must-see. I would definitely consider returning one day! "

"Overall, the resort is very beautiful and organized. It’s pleasant to simply be there with the modern design and look. However, the rooms are a bit poorly established: the bathroom did not have a fan so throughout our weekly stay, the smell was pungent. The staff was very nice and respectful, and it was very nice to have a shuttle system traveling 24/7 past all living quarters to pick up and drop off the people vacationing. We really enjoyed the events that were planned throughout our time. It was well prepared for and fantastically performed. I highly recommend this stay to others, overall it’s an amazing location with amazing service to relax and have a lot of fun "
