Staff: Fastantic and attentive. Only reason we stayed after seeing the bait and switch we walked into.
Property: Absolute disrepair and needs a complete makeover. (I have plenty of pictures should this property owner tries and deny it). Not sure if it was the discoloration of the pools (yellow tint) or just dirty water, but we didn't get in once. Even though the staff was nice enough to clean our personal pool for us.
Room: Needed to be cleaned which the staff did right away. Again, everything is in disrepair. Door handle to balcony was loose (staff fixed). There are no window screens of any kind of mosquito nets so prepare. Out bathroom window was broken and never shut so we needed to keep the bathroom door shut to keep mosquitos out. Smart TV works, AC works. Our bed was very soft. Old mattress with egg crate foam cover. Nice sheets and pillows!
Pictures MUST have been taken years ago as they do not match. Aerial view is from so long ago that there was no neighbors to the right.
Bike racks filled with bikes. Not there. Day beds missing covers and curtains from site pictures.
Location: About 10 min off main highway in an easy dirt road. Close to Tulum. Not much going on around the property but other mediocre hotels.
Food, diner quality at best. Beach, rocky. Need to know how to swim in rocks. Need swim shoes.
Views were very nice, but they're nice everywhere in Tulum so stay somewhere else. The price is cheap for a reason. Not sure how this property gets the reviews
