"We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The rooms were excellent, the pool was fantastic, and the views are absolutely stunning. While the hotel is definitely showing its age in some areas, it remains a unique and memorable property. It was wonderful to escape the crowds and bustle of Venice and relax in this oasis on the Lido.
The property itself is very large, which adds to the resort-like atmosphere. However, the gym was underwhelming and not particularly inviting. Food options on-site were also quite limited, especially in the evenings. The bar menu was expensive and underwhelming, and despite advertising 24/7 room service, there were no food options available when we scanned the QR code later at night, looking for something to eat.
There is very little to do on the Lido itself, so you'll likely want to spend most of your time exploring Venice. Be sure to make dinner reservations early enough to catch the last hotel shuttle back at 9:00 PM. While taxis are available, they can cost around €100 each way.
The staff experience was mixed. Some team members were excellent and welcoming, while others came across as rude and condescending.
Overall, despite a few shortcomings, this was an incredible experience. The setting, pool, views, and opportunity to escape the crowds of Venice made for a memorable stay that we would still recommend. Not sure if I would stay here agiain."
