The nicest and most helpful people work here. The hotel is centrally located. Clean and modern bathrooms. Wonderful breakfast. Wish I could go back tomorrow.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location with staf
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location with staff who go above and beyond. It's a gorgeous old building with stone carvings, costumes,a couple of lovely balconies and spacious, clean and functional rooms.
Loved the welcome drink but most of all the staff were so helpful, couldn't do more.
Conveniently located close to everything. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone in the reception goes out of their way to help you. I highly recommend this property to anyone planning on staying in Venice.

Great staff. Location close to San Marco & great sized rooms. Breakfast excellent.
Our room was very large and well-appointed and very clean. The hotel is steps away from one of the larger canals so getting there was easy. Santa Maria Formosa is across the piazza, and it's easy to get to almost anywhere as it's in the "center of town", if you will. The staff was SO friendly and helpful, honestly it was a magical stay. I can't wait to go back!!
The friendliness of the staff was exceptional. The rooms were extremely comfortable and of course the breakfast was amazing. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.
Love the old world charm and beauty of this hotel with modern conveniences. Staff is gracious and helpful. Clean rooms, center balcony overlooking the plaza. Easily walkable to shops, restaurants, and points of interest. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly Venetian experience.
Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in a traditional building (with renovated and modern bathroom of course) in the middle of a popular square. I thought noise might be a problem at night given its central location, but that’s not at all the case, we had the most peaceful and restful sleep. Highly recommended.
Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. We had an upgrade to a junior suite which was at the rear of the property. So quiet. There are balconies on the first and second floor where you can sit and watch the world go by! The staff were wonderful, really helpful especially Francesca who served breakfast and Lidie and Glerider on reception. It is close to St Marks and the Rialto Bridge and lots of really good restaurants close by.
The family room was very large and the double was larger than expected for a city short on space. The rooms were clean and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s situated in a relatively quiet square with a church and restaurants. Easy walk to San Marco.
Staff was very helpful in assisting with water taxi transportation. A nice breakfast bar was included during our stay. There is a fantastic restaurant right in front of the hotel in addition to a great place for lunch via staff recommendations(sorry forget restaurant names) I would recommend this hotel with an FYI there are no elevators they have a lift to bring your luggage to your room.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Staff were very friendly and helpful. However the property was not in great shape. The fridge and tv didn’t work. The toilet didn’t work properly and the ac didn’t work. Overall the property was not the best, but the staff were great.
The location is amazing, quiet and a beautiful piazza.
It is a palazzo so you feel like you went back in time.
The decor is beautiful.
I was a little disappointed by the size of the room, the fact that the bathroom wasn't spotless, and no soap in the dispenser. But after that, it was truly spotless. There is not much room to unpack (we stayed 5 nights); a dresser would be great since the armoire only had 3 shelves.
The staff is wonderful. Marcella, the concierge, is amazing, personable, funny and very knowledgeable on everything Venice. How to get anywhere, which vaporetto to take, help with your daily itinerary, etc.
The breakfast, which is included, provides a great variety of choices in every category. Everything is delicious and abundant. As soon as you sit down, you can order teas, cappuccino, hot chocolate to be brought to you.
I would definitely stay there again and get a bigger room!
P.S. If you have trouble with stairs, request a first floor room, as the stairs to the 2nd floor are very high, they are the original stairs!
