This is a perfect spot to stay in Venice. Mere steps from the Grand Canal and St Marks but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There is no elevator but the staff are happy to carry bags!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Al Nuovo Teson. The location was great. It was just a couple minutes away from the piers and just a short distance from Piazza San Marco. The staff member that checked us in was very friendly and made us feel welcome. He also gave several great suggestions for things to do in the area. Our room was clean and quite comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent...

We went on a trip and spent a night at the hotel to experience being close to the canals. The hotel is very well located — a classic hotel with all the comforts, close to transportation connections along the Grand Canal. It was an excellent experience. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and give wonderful recommendations. They even suggested a faster and cheaper route to the airport than what was suggested on Google Maps! Only downside is the lack of an elevator, but the staff did help us take our bags up so this wasn't much of an issue.
