Charming,characterful property and well located with super helpful staff. Conveniently located for the airport but less so for Venice necessitating a 45 minute bus ride on the number 5. The hotel is rather like a ranch and attractive. It is very non corporate compared to the nearby Marriott, a positive aspect in my opinion.

Rooms were clean and interesting. Airport shuttle was not available when we landed around noon. We had to take a cab. Breakfast is ok, buffet eggs and sausages were cold. Restaurant with the same owners is tolerable. Cabernet was undrinkable, but they didn’t care. Pizza was good. There are two different hotels with the same name 50 meters apart, but they don’t warn you in advance. Taxi took us to the wrong hotel.

Excellent location close to the airport without feeling like a standard airport hotel. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Room fairly basic but everything worked and the bed was reasonably firm. Only downside was a lack of internal soundproofing - we were kept awake by loud snoring for a lot of the night from another room. Overall excellent value for money.
