My stay at this property was fine. I visited during Nyepi and on a positive note this property did supply food service and optional activities during this day of lockdown. I was a bit surprised at how much general conversation was being had between staff memebers in common areas on this supposed day of silence. Cleanliness was ok, however I did have to ask the receptionist to have my villa serviced after being assured this had all been finished. Simple things were over looked such as including forks when relacing cutlery, I didn't find the staff particularly helpful when it came to advice of getting around or booking attractions, these may all seem small issues, I am simply not a fan of having to tell people to do their job. All in all, I felt I could have stayed at any number of other properties in the same area and perhaps had a better experience.

What a beautiful place to stay! Nestled in the treetops this was a lovely villa with the most friendly of staff. In a cute location near shops and eats, would definitely stay again.

Ubud Green is a beautiful private villa resort. It was so quiet and although two thirds booked, we felt like the only people there. The views of the rice fields were spectacular. The premiere rice field view villa felt so private but at the same time, felt like we were immersed in the jungle and rice fields. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. We stayed for a week and absolutely loved the villa. The only things missing from the villa was a tea towel to dry the dishes, no face washers in the bathroom and the water in the kitchen tap only ran cool. Otherwise it was beautiful and we will definitely be back next year. Thank you so much 🙏 Nikki and Matt

I did not realised the age of this property at the time of booking. Photos looks really amazing and reviews wasn’t bad either. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed by the Villa. Ubud green is 12 years old therefore it’s aged a lot. Photos on the website must have been taken 12 years ago. Bathroom is nowhere near as in their photos! Staff are really friendly and helpful except one really rude Butler and there’s where the good part ends! Our Villa, Bayu 2 has lots of ants on the deck and wall of the pool area. Despite the help of the staff the ants are always there. Small ants, black bull ants you name it. By the 3rd day of our stay we woke up to a pool of termites and red ants in our bathroom by the door. Bring your own towels as most of their towels are stained and linen is abit greyish as well. I have taken heaps of photos of the Villa but I’ve decided not to shame them as they have kindly let us use their spare bed and a complimentary massage. You do get a few lizards and frogs as well which I guess it’s just part of Ubud’s nature. Overall, not a very pleasant stay and location is right bang in the middle of traffic congestion which is abit frustrating!

However, if you would like to have an additional bed with an additional charge, we will be happy to arrange it as well. But you said it was fine, even though you came with three people, and we allowed you to stay with three people in our room. Regarding your comment about property, Ubud Green has been established since 2011. However, the one-bedroom Premiere Pool Villa where you stayed is one of villa that has been renovated & got very good review from our guests. and we have updated all detailed explanations on our advertisement regarding rooms and images/photos on all online platforms or websites.We do apologize that you found ants in your pool deck and bathroom slide door. After we heard your concerns, our team immediately did the treatment in your room and always carried out pest control every Monday and Thursday. As for your information, all of our team members are well trained directly by our manager. If our team is proven to have made a mistake, as you assume, it will certainly be followed up. That being said, your concern is that one of our team members is being rude and talking behind your back. In addition, it is simply not true. We have checked with the person, and he said that he is asking his partner to prepare another room to resolve your complaint. We do apologize; we cannot get it right all of the time and beyond your expectations. To ensure you left us happy and relaxed, we already gave you a complimentary extra bed during your stay and a free 1-hour massage for you and your husband, which you enjoyed as well. A wonderful place to base yourself in Ubud away from the chaos of the Main Street. We stayed in the two bed room villa Type B, with a private pool and overlooking the rice paddies. The villa was well appointed and looked after by housekeeping well. The pool was cooler than those out on direct sun but we used it every day to cool off after a busy day. The shuttle service is very convenient and we ate breakfast every day and dinner on two nights at Firefly. The staff were attentive and so helpful. There is also a convenience store next door, three Warungs within five minutes walk and two cafe/restaurants which we tried out and enjoyed. We also got a dozen items laundered for about $25 which was very convenient.

The Good: Staff was wonderful. Villa was located 10 min drive out from town. Good that there was a free shuttle. Used Gojek a few times as well. Lovely green surroundings. You feel part of nature here. Ubud is an amazing destination. Villa is a good size and had nice views of the rice fields outside. We used laundry service and everything came back the next day, clean and folded. The Cons: The Villa we had was very tired, and hence a 3 star rating given. One issue was how loud the crickets and insects were at night. It was louder in the upper bedroom and difficult to sleep due to the lack of sound proofing. There were three TVs but all lacked decent reception. Pool was cold with lack of sunshine to it, but in a way refreshing to have a cold dip. Restaurant was OK but would not recommend the margarita pizza. Lower bedroom separated and needing to walk outside was inconvenient, as well as having to manage three different keys.

The stay was absolutely amazing and fantastic. The staff were always helpful and respectful (even moving a frog that showed up at night at our door; I have frog phobia). I would more than recommend this place to anyone. The place was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and it was exactly what I was looking for in a Balinese vacation. It was a fantastic place to relax and unwind after touring the areas and culture. They also offer free shuttles to the city centre which is great! Cant recommend this place enough!! Thank you!

A beautiful resort with amazing customer service
We stayed at this resort for a week and we absolutely loved it. The room and grounds were beautiful and clean. We had a villa with a private pool which was perfect after a day exploring Ubud and the surrounding areas. The location was nice and quiet but not far from town. The courtesy shuttle made it easy to get about. The staff were all great and very friendly. The one downside was the Firefly restaurant. Although the service was great we only ate breakfast and dinner there once as the food was average at best. There is an amazing restuarant called Muse that ia a short 2 minute walk away though.

Great value for the money!!! Here’s why: Salsa (reservation): Prompt email reply as soon as I booked the hotel. Every question was answered immediately, and I arranged the airport and drop-off pickup so that my vacation was worry-free and as smooth as possible. We arrived very early (around 1 am), and our room was available. Bagus (reception): He ensures the check-in process is as quick as possible. We were in our room sleeping from a long flight in a matter of minutes. Very accommodating indeed. Outstanding Job!!! Pila (morning reception): Always on her toes, helping and assisting guests to ensure that guests are well taken care of. Koma (room service): Pleasing personality and very courteous with guests. Extremely respectful!! Servers, chefs, waiters, and waitresses that I forgot their names were equally excellent in providing significantly over-the-top customer service!!! I don’t usually do this, but I was very, very happy with the service, cheap food, exquisite cuisine, reasonable hotel stay, and the large room that I am planning on coming back and staying at the same hotel TWICE!!! We stayed in a two bedroom villa for 2 nights was originally 3 but had no wifi the second day so my teenage daughters were having a melt down. Villas overlook rice terraces which is nice and you feel like ur in nature. The villas are a bit tired the pool was cold as it’s situated in the shade. Food was average but staff were friendly and welcoming. A bit of a hike into ubud but have a shuttle which was handy.

Great resort! Loved the friendly staff. Always there to help. Firefly restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed the delicious food. If I have to critic, since we didn’t get a room with private pool, it would have been great to have a common pool.

We absolutely LOVED this place - it was everything that was promised and more. If I had of known that they could have organised a scooter I would have done it through them. It was only minutes from the hustle and bustle yet far enough to be soo peaceful and quiet and right in the beauty of Ubud.... LOVED IT!! Of course the staff are what always makes your stay and they were 10 out 10 - thank you so much for making our stay there so beautiful.

We stayed at Ubud Green for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. The suites were in a quiet location, pleasantly located next to a padi field and within a short drive to downtown Ubud. We especially enjoyed our private pool. The breakfasts were excellent. 5 stars all around.

The staff was amazing but the rooms we had were really old and you could smell the mould in the room. We got two rooms. Dads room was upstairs with the stairs to get up was outside only, no inside stairs and had no toilets or bathroom upstairs so he had to come downstairs in the rain to go to the bathroom. 😡.

Excellent little jem with helpful and friendly staff. Good transfer service too and from Ubud town centre which is only a couple of kms away, being given a local mobile phone is a nice touch and free bottled water. The view of the rice field and jungle from our pool was very relaxing and serene. The private pool villas are joined together so you get a hear what your neighbours are up to but for the most part everyone was very quiet.

nice villas but not much things to do in the hotel. One big problem we have villas but upstair bedroom has no bathroom and toilet. This is totally inconvenience to go out of room to go down stair to enter another room to get the bathroom!!!! Strange and crazy....

If you’re booking a pool villa, make sure you check that it has a view. Ours was walled in with no outlook, so we could have been anywhere. It felt a bit stifling. There was a 30cm long gecko living in our ceiling, which would poke its head out and poo on the floor. Daily housekeeping was inconsistent and the mini bar was not restocked. The Americano breakfast was generous. The restaurant views are nice and it is open on the sides to let in the breeze. Food is average. Pizzas were appalling. I had two massages in the Spa, which were excellent.

We booked the 2 bedroom duplex for 2 persons. The pool doesn’t get much sun therefore making it cold. We had a look at the 1 bedroom Pool Suites only to find these actually have 2 bedrooms 1 x QB and 1 x Single bed, which were much nicer and the pool gets full sun with an amazing view of the rice fields. The staff were quite accommodating and let us move to the 1 bedroom suite. Staff were fantastic and view and location was great.

Such a peaceful sanctuary
The Ubud Green Resort is fantastic and absolutely beautiful with lots of greenery to present a peaceful sanctuary, with well commissioned villas and landscaping. We spent most of our time staying in at the Villa with private pool as the space is very comfortable with modern facilities. We totally enjoyed our stay here, being tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Bali town while had the convenience of taking the free shuttle to the town area whenever we feel like it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to be pampered with a relaxing getaway.

Very relaxing and peaceful get away, little out of town ...so a shuttle to town runs all day. Ubud is still I feel the best location in Bali, with no hassle shopping and close to many activities. Over all a good experience.

Private little oasis
A great place for a quite and private getaway. Very friendly team and a great spa setup. Walkable to Ubud’s main area. While the place is a little bit tired everything else makes you feel at home.

Property was lovely and I liked the fact it was not in the heart of Ubud. They offer a shuttle to take you into town and is free of taken on the set departure/pick up times, but you can also pay a minimal fee to get a pick up outside of this. Check in was a bit of a drama as they required the print out confimation, however recetion did have a list of names of guests due to check in, so not sure why this was an issue. (especially when arriving at 10pm after travelling all day) We were also there when Lombok had another one of their larger Earthquakes and no one from reception called to check if we were OK.

Great room, lots of Ants
Overall beautiful villa, you get a lovely view of the rice terraces! Staff is excellent. Only downside is that because of the location, there are LOTS of ants. Once you get past those, there’s so much to love
