We loved our stay at Xambé. The place was quiet and clean, we were able to walk to the local plaza to get some wine and local food. The infinity pool was amazing and it was empty almost everytime we went up there. 10/10 stay.

The stay was amazing, we had so much space & it was beautifully designed. We got help with everything we needed. The location is up & coming so it isnt walkable but we got help with transportation around Tulum which helped our experience tremendously. We would definitely stay here again.

If you want to get away from the central area of Tulum this is the spot to go. Since it's far from the center, it is priced accordingly. Nice and quiet place. I would suggest a car or transport available to this destination as it's not easily reachable by foot.

This was our second trip to Tulum Mexico which we absolutely love! We decided to stay in the Aldea Zama area bc we loved the proximity to both the beach (hotel zone) and also the city center. Xambe was amazing! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed like family. The hotel and most in the area are designed as apartment style with full kitchens. Our intent was to utilize this feature however the LOCAL restaurants were just too good to pass up tacos for breakfast! Lol!! The rooftop infinity edge pool is gorgeous and quiet. It was basically our own private retreat. We absolutely will be back to Xambe and have already recommended to friends.

Customer service was great however bad location nothing is in walking distance a taxi to anywhere is 20$ we rented a scooter which was fun, the beach and downtown area are roughly 15-20mins away

This hotel, with its staff and beautiful rooms and rooftop pool made our vacation super duper good! Every single member of the staff was kind and helpful, huge thanks to Pricilla and Rafa for making us feel so welcomed! The room was very clean, spacious and exactly as in pictures. The hotel area is quiet and situated in great location. Downtown is 5-10 minutes away and the hotel zone with beautiful beaches 15 minutes away. Close to everything but still far enough to get your mind relaxed 🏝 10/10

Mixed Experience at Xambe Hotel

The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The location and overall atmosphere had so much potential for a great stay. However, the cleanliness was a major issue. There were ants everywhere, dirt all over the floor, and spider webs in multiple areas, which made it feel like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. It was disappointing because with better housekeeping, this place could be amazing. If management improves the cleaning standards, Xambe Hotel could be a great place to stay. Until then, I’d hesitate to recommend it.

Over all stay was good but couldve been better if they werent having constant water issues. Literally 4/5 nights we stayed, we had water issues, as in no water. Poor pressure etc. Staff were very sweet and respectful. Interiors were beautiful and modern artsy, Place was clean. Rooftop and pool were gorgeous. Neighborhood was mostly quiet and safe. I appreciated the Free laundry room, just bring detergent. There was an Ice machine room with filtered water. Poor internet connection in rooms were a tad annoying as well. Will stay again if they have those two issues sorted.

Beach roads are very congested but easy to get taxi back

We stayed in the top floor in the “Superior Suite” and it was a dream! It was absolutely beautiful and the view of the untouched jungle behind us was everything! The bed was giant, I think larger than a standard King bed and was the most comfortable bed and pillow I’ve ever slept in. Blackout curtains in the bedroom worked wonderfully. The rooftop public pool was also extremely nice. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming and quick to assist when we needed a hand. The Aldea Zama area of Tulum seemed to be the most developed as far as paved roads go. We were pleasantly surprised after staying in the Veleta area first where everything is dirt roads and potholes currently (early 2025). We already want to return to Xambé. I just hope the price doesn’t skyrocket after all these amazing reviews haha! I have nothing negative to say. We stayed in 4 different places and Xambé was our absolute favourite! We want to return with friends next time! I left my heart at Xambé Tulum ❤️

The hotel is in a developing/construction area. The hotel itself is quite and the area as well. PLEASE be awared that no basic supplies are provided. The room had a coffee maker, but no coffee/sugar/creamer. There was a pitcher of water but no water is supplied. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was placed so we had to asked for another roll. The ONLY person that went above and beyond and made the experience worth it was the Receptionist, Monica Garcia!! She was extremely accommodating and made our visit pleasant. I would recommend this hotel but make sure you bring water and coffee supplies. Food wise, make sure you bring food. The shower head sprayers sprayed all over except down on me. The cold/hot water lever settings were backwards: cold was hot and hot was cold. Who I REALLY RECOMMEND it's the Receptionist! She's the best Receptionist ever!!!!

Xambé is a little peace of heaven! We stayed on the top floor and the view is incredible. Very safe and quiet area. 5-10 minute walk to amazing restaurants. I would recommend having a car. Surrounding area is all very nice and also very safe. Romina and Baltazar took amazing care of us! Highly recommend. This was my second time staying here and I hope to return again someday!
