"The hotel is very clean! The owner was super nice and accommodating. My only complaint was my debit card would not work on the terminal, this caused stress for me and a delay in checking in. I then had to use the ATM in the front to get the cash which cost me an extra $5. Not happy about that"

"As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. "Two things I felt were needed: 1) better lighting outside along the road up to the Atlas. At night time, it is quite dark and the house on the right where we turn was lit up but not the hotel office. It was confusing. 2) A much bigger sign is needed for the hotel office. Again at night is when many guests arrive and once you are inside I had to figure out their old system of picking up the phone and wait for someone to come check me in. "
