"A large room with a bar fridge as well as a kettle. There is a microwave in a laundry room on the same level as the accommodation. The TV remote appeared not to work, but I wasn't that interested, so I didn't ask for it to be replaced. Very convenient check-in until 10.00 pm, as the accommodation is part of a pub building. On the same site as a small shopping centre, so there's a Woolworths and lots of free parking."

"This place was great ! In a great location and the rooms were very well maintained. The management were very professional and friendly. The restaurant and food were great and very reasonably priced. The first time in my many years eating on pubs that a medium - rare steak was actually cooked to medium rare. The only point I would make is the bar staff could do with a few lessons in etiquette and customer relations but hey that is young people these days :)"

"Our stay at The Hughenden Hotel was absolutely exceptional. This was our very first mother-daughter trip to Sydney, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and cared for. We arrived much earlier than check in time after an early flight, and the team went above and beyond to have our room ready so we could check in early at no extra cost. It made such a difference to the start of our trip. They also kindly stored my daughter's medication in their fridge while we waited,...

"Staff went out of their way to help me with my bags, the room was really lovely and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the beach. Location was amazing. Be aware that it is a venue for live music, the Sunday night I stayed the band was playing downstairs until about 11pm. Would absolutely stay here again!!"
