"The location is excellent, right next to the subway station, and the facilities and amenities in the room are very complete. The only issue is that the bed is too soft, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep on. Also, the duvet is quite thick and warm, so I often wake up during the night feeling too hot"

"Bed was better than business hotels. Bed size at least as large as a full where my wife and I had room to stretch (i'm 6' tall), right firmness (wife did not get back problems, and room size was almost 50% larger than cheap business hotel. Only about 20meters to a Ueno Sta. exit (forgot exit#). Short walk to Ameyokocho for food, shopping and Ueno Patk. Front Desk and cleaning staff very helpful."

"Booked this hotel because we were staying in Tokyo for a week and wanted room to be able to open suitcases and move around in the room for that amount of time. It had a kitchenette, but we didn't use it. Ate out or grabbed food from Lawson that was close by. Liked having washer/dryer (one machine) in the room. We could turn it on and leave. Close to lots of public transit. Area was quiet, clean, safe, lots of restaurants, some shopping, close to attractions. 15 minutes walk to Ueno park to see cherry blossoms. Tokyo wasn't overly crowded considering it is busy tourist season. Staff were nice and helpful when needed. Booked taxis for us."

"Fantastic brand new hotel. Super modern, we had a traditional Japanese room and it was immaculate. We stayed in multiple hotels during our Japan trip and we only had 1 night at Tabi for our last night in the country. It was the best hotel we stayed in. Great location close to Ueno station and Kensei-Ueno station. 7-11 is a 2 min walk. Not sure about hotel amenities as we're there only 1 night. Our room had a view of Tokyo Tower which was a bonus. Would 100% stay here again."

"A lovely hotel in a quiet area, yet only about 20 minutes by train or metro to reach the main sights. As a walker, I found it took around 45 minutes to an hour to get to Ginza. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a well‑kept bathroom that made the stay even more pleasant. The staff were consistently helpful and polite, and the food at the hotel was very good. There are also plenty of eateries nearby, making dining easy and enjoyable. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"Filthy!! Mold growing in room. Smelled of mildew so bad we had to open windows and eventually leave. Visible black mold coming down through the ceiling above our beds. Multiple spots. Wish I could upload the pic so the place would go out of business. Offered another room and it was gross too. And the dust was an inch thick. They don’t clean for you. You clean your own room and leave garbage and towels outside. The staff is fine but the hotel was so filthy in our room. We were upgraded to “the nicest” option which had two small beds for a family of three. It was filthy. Literally. And averaged $300 per night. "
