"I wanted to love this place so much - the photos online made it seems so cute and clean. Upon walking up to our room (elevator was out of service) I felt totally duped. The floors were sticky, the ceiling looked like it had mold, the patio door didnt close, pillows were wet, not one thing was well maintained which would be fine if it was $200 a night - but for what we paid I found it unacceptable. Staff seemed miserable and were less than helpful. There was also major construction in the lot next door, which I know is out of their control (they should let you know or if you’re in that wing of the hotel maybe a disturbance discount) but waking up to that noise on a Saturday morning was a major bummer. Ugh I hate leaving a negative review, but I also hate being priced gauged on something totally not aligned with the quality. "

"Property is great. Building, was good. Beach access and staff at the beach were great. In-fact the staff at the beach were the best part of the staffing experience at this hotel. Front desk was not friendly, restaurant were ok, bar tender was very good. Room was quite tired and the plumbing was very poor. Shower flooded, water pressure in the sinks were terrible. It all needs maintenance badly. Mattress was good. Pricing for a coffee at the coffee shop was crazy expensive and the staff there had huge attitude problems. Restaurant pricing, which is right beside the coffee shop was fine. Staff in the restaurant were quite good and friendly. Pool area was good, roof pool was good, beach was great. I'm trying to like this place. It had a lot going for it but it's weakest link was most of the staff and the plumbing."

"The staff was nice and helpful if we needed recommendations or if we need it extra toiletries placed in the room. The kids loved the pool and colorful floaters that were complementary. This is definitely the quieter side of the strip and we loved that. The room could have been a little more detailed cleaned because the glass table and the closet mirror was dirty and the floor since it tiles could have been better swept. They do have a sister hotel Oceanside hotel @ 6084 Collins Ave that gives you free cocktails hour from 5-6 pm and is a lot nicer and reasonably priced. Oceanside is closer to Miami Beach if that’s what you’re looking for. "

"The rooms are much dirtier and older than photos show. Kitchen stove was greasy and not cleaned. The glass shower panel was dirty and streaked with water spots. The couch was so gross and stained that you couldn’t even sit on it. We found a cockroach in the closet. The WiFi didn’t work. The owners tried to “fix it” but it never worked. The city was doing work outside so the water was out for some time. There was also moments of dirty water and only hot/cold. They were doing pavement work right outside the house the whole week we were there. It was not fun to be woken up at 7 am to loud construction noises. Everything was so dusty and dirty. We parked a few blocks over and that’s a trap too. You have to pay $10 a day to park there. They open at 8 and the is a time limit when the parking “expires”. After 6, it’s free. We got a parking ticket because it expired at 5:40 apparently- even though we paid for the whole day. What a scam. The location was decent enough. The beach wasn’t too bad but the property was a let down. It said it sleeps 8 but there is literally one queen bed in one room, another small closet with a twin bed and a trundle underneath. The sofa comes apart to sleep another two. I didn’t see any other place to sleep another two people. This property needs some deep cleaning. "
