"It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, with visible staff @ the front desk, hallway and kitchen. The room is clean and well-stocked. We also love the breakfast buffet."

"Delusions of grandeur. A very small room with barely enough room to open a suitcase, slightly shabby decor. So many cushions on the bed that when you removed them they took up most of the available floor space! Bathroom ok but nowhere to put toiletries. Dinner ok, but nothing special. It was all “ok” but disappointing compared to the hype on the website."

"While close to town center getting there requires a walk up a very steep hill--not suitable for old people. The hotel was helpful in terminating our stay after one day. A well placed hotel for younger people requiring a basic hotel. Breafast was good. Evening menu should be avoided."

"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing. Breakfast was also very disappointing. The most limited (and prepackaged, so not fresh) range for breakfast I have ever encountered in extensive...

"Nice touch the fridge and microwave the bathroom and room looked clean But the walls are to thin Close to the road the traffic is all u hear . The people above every move they make you can hear, doors closing and feet stomping . "

"We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. This was a lovely hotel, with a nice atmosphere. However. We were disappointed with the food offering. We had dinner both nights, the burger and chips were just nice, and quite basic. The chicken pie was not chicken! , struggled to find the chicken. The potatoes and gravy, sauce, were puréed. We were not sure whether to use a knife and fork, or a soup spoon! Please can the chef reconsider puréed food, it seems a lazy way to serve a dinner .However,...
