The room was clean but could do with a deep clean, staff were good. Balcony was a great addition. Overall I would 100% stay again, very central and convenient location. Bit of a walk to get your luggage to hotel. I will be using the hotel again.

The room was fine, good size, clean, everything in working order. However, the room was extremely hot with no air conditioning and there was a lot of noise from outside. Staff were very helpful, allowed us to check in early but unable to change our room to reduce heat or noise as the hotel was full. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

Great location and large clean room. Very disappointing breakfast at the George though. Waited 20 minutes for a very unappealing looking plate of food and a bizarre set up. Sticky tables in breakfast room too. Staff were lovely though.

DO OT stay here in the summer. no aircon, windows open at the top about 3 inches. Small fan supplied in room, with short flex that will not reach the window opening. Also rooms face onto the highstreet, or perhaps worse a bar with outdoor seating. So window open and all you get it noise. If you love the heat an own earplus this is the hotel room for you ! Positives - good shower, clean room, breakfast was nice.
