"This is a very cozy hotel in the heart of York, with very short walking distance from the city center. It was very convenient with their gated car park. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of hot and cold food. The room was nice and clean, with a good bed. We will stay at this hotel again."

"Great location 10-15 flat walk to Yorkminster. Brilliant attention to detail (tissues and cotton pads in the room). Very high quality bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet. Lovely breakfast, would recommend and will stay there again when in York. "

"This was a very cute bed and breakfast and the host was beyond helpful. I really can't say enough good things about him! We unfortunately were not able to have breakfast as they don't start serving until 9 and we needed to be on our way for the day by 9 :) The room was clean, although the bathroom could have been cleaner. "Our room was very comfortable for a family of 4. We had one king and two twin beds, and the room was spacious enough to enjoy our short excursion to York. The location was fantastic. We could walk to the train station and to the city center. The street is quiet and beautiful. The bathroom was a highlight. It was spotless and looked recently renovated. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. "Cannot rate the staff, this is a self service hotel, but it’s really easy, you’ll get a couple of codes the day of your stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist that’s exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. Without spoiling your experience I will tell you that my hard-to-please teenager was flabbergasted with the experience, he said it’s in his top 5 hotels in the world. "

"Meraviglioso pub in centro a York, a due passi dalla stazione dei treni (10 minuti a piedi!) staff veramente gentilissimo e disponibile, ci hanno tenuto i bagagli in attesa del check in e anche all’uscita. Camere pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Se tornerò a York lo risceglierò (ha anche un garden esterno e il parcheggio!"

"The hotel is in an amazing location in York, close to Yorkminister cathedral and in the midst of the old city. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were pleased to get early check-in as our room was ready. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice. Be aware that the hotel does not have air conditioning - that was the only downside for us."

"We were put in an accessible room which had limited counter space and the shower area (with no tub of course) spilled water into the rest of the washroom. Would be great for someone who needed those amenities but not great for our family. Lounge was fun, food was decent, and it had a work out area - not big but good enough. "
