"This isnt a manned hotel.. Its comfortable clean rooms in an unoccupied house. That being said its secure warm and a great stay. Slept really well. The bathroom and shower where great. 10 min walk into town great quiet location. I had to contact owners as door code wasn't received. Call was answered quickly and help was brilliant"

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all. The flat is a funny layout. "Fabulous room in central York. Very spacious and comfortable with ample parking. River walk is very close, as is the Shambles. Hotel let us stay in the parking lot even after we had checked out, allowing us to get in shopping and lunch. Great place to stay!"
