"Cons: Room needed more table or lamp lighting. I ended up borrowing a lamp from the lobby table. Also could have used dim lighting at the bunk beds. We had the family room with two kids, so when the overhead lights went off, the bunkbed corridor felt very dark and creepy. Consider putting plugs at the bunkbeds for electronics access Room and bathroom trashcans were super small Room temperature felt very warm, could only adjust down to 67 degrees Would have loved for real washcloths in the room vs. the paper ones. Pros: Nice size family room Clean common areas Loved the coffee room Beautiful hotel overall"

"If you plan on staying here, I’m gonna give you a couple of pieces of advice. Look for Vester restaurant because the hotel and restaurant are in the same building. I wish I knew this information because going there. The check in and out is done with the servers of the restaurant too. All the staff are very helpful and nice."

"The property and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was easy to make reservations to and from the airport if needed. The only thing that could be better is the bed to be more comfortable and pillows that don’t flatten when you lay down. If you want something a little outside the city but close to the airport and trains, this is a great place."

"wonderful location and staff, beautiful older building with creative use of space. We enjoyed relaxing, playing cards in reception area with windows opening into courtyard. We were disappointed to learn that this gathering area is being renovated into more guestrooms. Guestroom - better lighting, more space to store suitcse contents would be helpful. Overall, we totally enjoyed our stay."

"The room was clean. The beds are comfortable and you don't hear other people. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating when we asked if we could store our things for a few hours after checkout. The road is a little noisy when the window is open but you can use the aircon to keep the room cool. The window also has an outside blind which can be put down. Short distance to Haarlem centre."

"We experienced an excellent 3 day break for 2. Nice clean room, friendly staff, dinner menu quite restricted but delicious - Chef's special a must. The hotel was perfect for visiting the area, inland or beach a bus drive away. Quiet surroundings in a fairly built up area but away from the bustle of Amsterdam. Reasonably priced for such a good quality hotel. Just note, when checking out you'll be hit with a "City Tax" Worth asking what this will be when you arrive. Apart from that, all good."
