"Prepaid parking through Expedia not honored at the hotel. Staff completely unhelpful in sorting this issue out. Forced to double pay for parking. Rooms dated with older furnishings. Beds old. Plumbing drained poorly. Location nice but otherwise I would not recommend."

"This hotel needs updating/refurbishing. the lobby is shabby, the wallpaper is peeling, etc. The room decor is tired and dated. I realize this is an historic property, but a little love would help. The aircon was inadequate, and the fan kept me up all night. The amenities were sparse and again no magnifying mirror. The staff was lackadaisical, occasionally loud as they shouted from one end of the hall to the other. Breakfast, what breakfast?"
