"The location itself was the draw to this resort, and it was worth the effort to get there. We found the area to be very relaxing and tranquil. There was only one night with some excessive noise by a neighboring cottage. Otherwise, it felt like we were there alone for most of the time we spent at the resort. "Hosts were incredibly friendly, warm and receptive. Their dogs (hypoallergic poodles) were the cutest to play with and well-behaved. The room itself (Library Room) is cozy and rustic with more than enough things we needed. Some items like toothpaste are lacking but I'm sure that if you ask the hosts, you'll be able to get one anyway. Overall, the experience was incredible and I would recommend this place to everyone! It is a little older however they have gone above and beyond with adding the extras in the rooms then many hotels ie. on pillowcases it is embroidered what the pillow rates soft firm etc. what a nice little touch. Great location and lots of parking. Rates reasonable as well."
