"We stayed for two nights & the staff were all lovely and very helpful. We returned wanting food one night not realising that the restaurant was closed but the lady on reception was very helpful supporting to order a food delivery then providing plates and allowing us to eat in the cosy restaurant. The room we had was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. They were"

"A good location with good views over Barry. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The property was "tired" and with a good budget, has the potential to be a lovely venue. A good value for money, basic accommodation, if your expectations are not too high."

"Convenient location, wonderful stay"

"It is a wonderful place to stay within walking distance of the main tourist area and castle. And it has a great restaurant downstairs. We would definitely stay there again!"

"Great place to stay xx"

"The staff, from the pub to the hotel were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and kind, telling me certain walking paths to get to the train station"

"Highly recommend staying here. Lovely rooms, with incredibly welcoming and helpful staff."

"I loved the location and staff. The rooms were small but well stocked and comfortable. The second room we rented only had a sink -the toilet and shower facilities were in the hallway but it didn’t seem to be much of an issue unless you awake several times a night. A hidden surprise that we found out about by mistake…there is a walking path just outside the hotel entrance “behind the restaurant” (take a left) that leads to a beautiful trail and meanders to the road near the bay."

"Nice place to stay, very clean and a lovely area."
