"The deluxe king room was a little small but this is Manhattan. We were in the back so it was very quiet but the window faced an office where workers were in meeting rooms and it was close so we had to keep the shades down. Staff was super friendly and you could walk to just about everything. "

"il mio è un voto di incoraggiamento verso la struttura perchè prima di partire ho letto recensioni pessime ed ero spaventato, ma invece siamo stati abbastanza soddisfatti. Intanto è una delle poche strutture che non ti chiede anticipi o carta di credito per prenotare, ed è cancellabile fino al giorno prima. "Great location in a very historic and nicely renovated building. Smaller but comfortable rooms with top quality bedding and towels. Adjoining is the Nice Matin restaurant - top notch for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, all kinds of dining, coffee and cocktail opportunities with 2 blocks, and we felt comfortable on the street, although we were generally back at the hotel by 10:00. "I highlt recommend!! Breakfast was amazing. The shared shower was not bad at all! I slept all night and didnt hear anything but a slammes door before i went to sleep. Staff is friendly and they are on top of security in the building "

"Delightful hotel with newly renovated rooms and a very nice lobby area with a lounge/library, bar, breakfast bar and sitting area. Small but adequate fitness center. Serafina restaurant opens into hotel for evening dining. Close to Zabars and Fairway and loads of local shops on Broadway and Amsterdam. Amsterdam from 79th to 96th is full of great restaurants and local bars. Heart of the Upper Westside. "

"I didn’t catch the name of the person who checked us in (he’s been there 18 years), but he was a terrific introduction to the hotel — friendly, open, and offering all the best of New York. The room was clean, and it is sooooo close to so many theaters, the Morgan Library, Bryant Park and the New York Public Library. Will stay here again. "
