"I have to state that there was a bit of confusion at the Wingate on my behalf,and I’m grateful to the staff that took my word and believed that I was not trying to be deceitful If I had to rate this hotel I would have to say that it was excellent! And customer service! My stay was great. The hotel looks absolutely amazing!. I will definitely recommend the Wingate Hotel located on Park Avenue right off 138th St. "

"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. "Great location!! Beautiful blend of modern and historical design. Lots of original/restored details. Much character in this hotel. Comfortable beds. The chevron wood floors are very pretty but an area rug underneath the bed for comfort would be nice and add visual grounding for the rooms. The private attached terrace offers *Rare* exceptional views."
