"This is an old mid century motor lodge that may be locally owned and operated as a small business. I selected it because of the location and ease of parking. I read reviews to validate safety. "I get it it’s an old hotel, but it could use some modern details. The bed creaks A LOT. It looks pretty old but there are ways, using modern techniques to fix that. Also, what’s up with the bed being so tall? One could really get hurt falling off. Getting on and off can be difficult. There’s no sitting on the bed, you have to hop or climb to get on it. Not sure if that’s how beds were in the olden days but we didn’t like it. Another thing is the TV, could it be any smaller, older, and have less...

"We liked the place. Lots of things to see and take pics of. Price was good for San Francisco. We thought we would pay more but glad they are not greedy people. Very kind and funny staff. Breakfast selection was good. The only thing i would have like to have was scrambled eggs not just hard boiled eggs but all in all loved the whole experience and would go back again. "

"The general areas were not clean, the other travellers left the kitchen and washrooms dirty and male hair in the bathroom drain. The water pressure is not ideal if you’re looking to get a nice shower. There is an odour in the hallways. The redeeming quality is the bed that was cozy. "

"The hotel itself was PERFECT! Location is a bit off but did walk from there to the Hayes neighborhood at night from there and was a very nice walk to and from. Short drive to many locations. Would stay there again on a return visit. Staff was exceptional and the roof top bar was a perfect way to start or end your evening."
