"We stayed at the Birdham for a mini-break and were very pleased with our choice. It has been recently refurbished to a good standard and was very clean. The team were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Bembridge itself is fairly small and quiet but it is easy to get to from the ferries and was also a good base for touring the island. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay for an Isle of Wight break."

"Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. The room with 2 double beds was spacious and clean The staff are great though. Particularly the lady that was on reception evening of 6 June kind and helpful. "The Old Vine is a wonderful property. It blends historic charm with the best of modern comfort. The breakfast is served generously and quite delicious. We must mention Mitchell who does it all and made our stay even more special. Thanks! Last but not least, the location could not be better—directly across from the cathedral, and a stone’s throw from the charming old town. Hope to return soon. "
