Amazing Little place, I was alone so it was enough space. Not sure how comfy it is if you have big luggages though. Clean, friendly staff, well equipped room too. Close to the market, busy morning and night. Recomended for sure.

Staff were welcoming. I got there earlier than the check in time, so my room wasnt ready but they took my luggage whilebi went for a shop. They gave free water and cleaned my room every day. The roof balcony had a view of the namsam tower. Its only a two minute walk to the subway. Would definitely stay there again.

We were given a second pillow and had a wonderful sleep in the very comfortable bed. The hotel was situated to access the Seoul tower and many markets and shopping.

The hotel is easy to find. The restaurants, services, transportation, and sightseeing spots were numerous and conveniently located. The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was as advertised and the pictures on the website were an accurate representation of the size and layout. However, some areas were noticeably dusty from disuse, the closet was awkwardly positioned (directly next to the air conditioner so one door was blocked from opening fully), and the hot water in the bathroom took forever to heat up. Once it got hot, you had to very carefully adjust it or it would be either scalding hot or freezing cold. Overall, I still give it 4 stars because these issues were relatively minor (in my opinion) compared to the benefits.

We needed a place to stay over night in Seoul so we could do some shopping and visit all the markets . This place was perfect, the price was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful . Thank you for a wonderful stay !! We would come back again .

If you're looking for a budget friendly place to stay I would recommend this hotel. Here are pros & cons based on my stay for 3 days. Pros: budget (roughly $100 for 3 people room), location (2 minutes walking from subway), friendly staff & owners, amenities, cleanliness Cons: described as city view but basically there isn't a view you would look out through this tiny window. I know it is a budget friendly place but there isn't any space to sit as a group in the suite. Overall I don't regret for staying here since it was a short period (3 days) but I would try elsewhere if my trip is longer for nicer setting.

I stayed for 6 nights. It is ideal for solo travellers or couples. Very close to public transport and Myeongdong shopping area within walking distance. Hotel was down a small alleyway but quite easy to locate. It felt very safe and the staff were lovely. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Room has a safe, closet, small desk and a good shower. I like that there was plenty of room to have my cases open and still have space to move around and get ready. The price was excellent. I would definitely stay again if I come back to Korea

Small but very clean and quiet. Very near the train station (1 min walk) that made us easy to travel around South Korea. A lot of restaurants and convenient store near the hotel. All of these features for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended and will truly be back in this hotel.

Walking distance to Myeongdong shopping district, yet very quiet area. The admin reply to my message were all very helpful and accommodating even before my arrival. All staff here are very dedicated to serve the guest well. The location is very convenient as there are lots of local groceries stores, cafe & restaurant nearby. The room is very clean and bathroom fully equipped, including heated toilet seat.. We went during Christmas where the temperature is around -1°c at night, but the room is very warm and cosy.. We are very delight with our stay.. Will definitely stay here again during our next trip.

I had such a wonderful stay at Daeyoung Hotel, I will always come back here for any future trips to Korea. The hotel is 1 minute away from Hoehyeon metro station (Exit 1) and there are lots of shops (inc. convenience stores) in the area. Easy walking distance to Myeongdong area. The staff at Daeyoung were very polite and friendly and helped make my stay very enjoyable!

PERFECT LOCATION! It is in a quiet location with access to public transport at your fingertips. Nice and central. My room was clean and comfortable bed! The only thing they did not provide were FACE CLOTHS, but I found that was every hotel in Korea when I went to Jinju and Busan. Definitely, use the Airport Shuttle bus, it’s a third of the price by taxi or designated driver as I found out later. The Airport Shuttle bus is so comfortable, located outside of the arrival terminal. Information Centre is there to assist if needed. The Hotel will give you instructions as to where to get off. T-MONEY card can be used to pay for your Airport Bus Shuttle which was 7,000 KRW one way. The subway is less than a five-minute walk from the hotel & buses also close-by. Restaurants and convenience stores both up and down the street close to the hotel, where you are spoiled for choice. Namdaemun Market is only a five-minute walk from the hotel and Myeondong street market, where I spent a lot of my nights eating street fare, or going to the Michelin restaurants for dumplings & soup. The staff were very patient, friendly &helpful A for their service. My last day I needed to walk FIVE SUITCASES – (had to buy two suitcases). The elderly OWNER went the extra mile & pushed two of the big heavy suitcases 100m all the way to the bus stop. He was amazing! I will be returning in 2025 and will choose DAEYOUNG again!

The lane in front of the hotel is very narrow therefore vehicle cannot reach right in front of the Hotel. You need to alight the vehicle near Hotel Mido and walk up a slight slope to reach the hotel. To make it worst, there is a drizzle in the morning when we left and we walk in the rain to reach the vehicle parking near Hotel Mido.
