The location is near to train station walking distance to the myeondong market street. The room is clean, but the washroom has unpleasant smell that doesn't go away. But over all it's a decent place to stay.

This was great value for the money! It’s situated north of the crazy touristy part of Myeong-dong and only a 4 min walk to the subway. It was very quiet and convenient. The staff were delightful. David is so great and I very much enjoyed our nightly chats whenever I came back to the hostel. I’d stay here again!

Staff is very helpful and kind. Breakfast is good and simple - cereal and bread. Location is close to the subway exit 3 and there are many restaurants and shops around. Property maintenances is well but the room cleanliness could be improved with a little mold on the wall and dust. Overall is good. Would recommend it!

I went to Seoul with my friends, stayed at the OYO Rooftop. Theo is the guy at the front desk. He is amazing! Very helpful, friendly, speaks English and very accommodating. This small hotel is a jewel and would for sure comeback for my next Korean trip.

Spacious and clean room. Not too noisy at night. Good value for money. Great central location within walking distance from myeongdong metro, it's up a small hill so keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage. A basic breakfast (cereal, toast, coffee) is included. Make sure you check OYO rooftop because there are several OYO hostels in the area and first I went to the wrong one.

The staff were very friendly and all spoke very good english. There were family rooms with a private bathroom. There is a bit of a hike to get to the hotel and to bring the luggage to the hostel but they make up for it woth excellent pricing and good information such as guides and transportation aids. Overall it was excellent and would stay with them again.

Property is very convenient & near to popular Myeong-dong shopping street. Given the price that we paid & in fact it's a hostel, it is consider a good accommodation option. The hostel staffs are friendly & the simple breakfast provided is much appreciated. Love the outdoor terrace & rooftop space. The street does get noisy & a tiny annoying as tourists especially youngsters cramming the streets with photos taking (for all their social medias). Perhaps because we were given a room facing the main street on 2nd floor.

second time staying at OYO Rooftop and we always enjoy our experience. It is very close to the metro, Myeongdong, bus stops, Seoul Tower, restaurants, and many more. The staff is very friendly and help in anyway possible. It was convenient to have breakfast every morning before we started our day. We look forward to booking a room the next time we visit Seoul.

Amazing location and a nice hostel

Amazing location. It was so easy to get around from there. The room was big. The staff was very friendly, and so helpful and when we requested a more bouncier pillow they immediately gave us a new one. The only downsize was the room was so humid that the moment you turn off the air conditioner that humidity came back. Also they have a really cute rooftop, I definitely recommend you to take a look.

It was directly under the Namsan tower in a silent area. The breakfast was enjoyable and the rooftop was the most beautiful place. Every person working there was really friendly and helpful. There was hot water for cleaning the dishes. And the rooms were clean too.

Condition of the place is old and broken. Dirty with cat feces on the garden and rooftop terrace. Noisy due to rubbish pick ups at 11-12 midnight. Place has no elevator. Bathroom condition was horrendous!!! No flushing toilet paper, tub and tiles on wall were cracked. Water pressure in shower was trickling. Just a very horrible experience! The staff was very helpful though.

Yes, 5 starts!! I traveled with my two young daughters and my sister, we were on a budget so we booked this hotel. They don't have an elevator, we had to carried our luggage all the way up to 3rd floor, I hope that changes in the future. Oyo was very clean place, room is big and spacious I did like it very much. Breakfast was cereal, bread, coffee and juice (self served) you have to wash your own plates after you eat breakfast, which was okay no bother for me. Front desk was very helpful when I asked for help on how to get around I was giving a map of the area and very easy to follow directions. You either can walk or grab an uber to places, is very easy. All the stores, restaurants and markets are near by so this place is the best place to stay. They lock the front door after 10pm but you have a key pad on the door lift that up and just type the code, very safe place. I had laundry and each basket was 10,000Korean Won which was not bad at all, they washed and folded for you, great service!!! They all speak very good English, staff very friendly and helpful, there is one staff member that besides English he speaks Spanish very well!! That's a plus!!! I visited Ecox mall, Namdaemun Market, Gyeongbokgung Palace, the tower is close to this hotel you can literally walk there it's called (Namsan Cable Car), you'll get a great view of the whole city it's beautiful. This hotel is 20min drive from Gimpo Airport. Yes, I highly recommend Oyo Hostel and I'll stay there again. Thank you
