"We had a great overall experience at this property. The resort is very well maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were excellent — as they should be considering the prices. Breakfast was included with our stay, and both the selection and service exceeded expectations. We actually preferred the lounge/bar menu over the main dinner menu, not because of cost, but simply due to the variety and flavor, so I’d recommend trying items from both menus during your stay.
The beach itself was a bit underwhelming, mainly because of the nearby cruise ship traffic. The water was murkier than what we typically expect in SXM, and the sand had quite a few cigarette butts and pigeons around. That said, the front desk staff was extremely helpful in arranging taxis so we could explore other beaches across the island.
One of the highlights of the property is its location at the base of a beautiful mountain, which creates amazing views from the boardwalk area. Just be aware that most shops and restaurants nearby tend to close around 5–6 PM once the cruise ships depart. Fortunately, there were still a few great spots within walking distance, and we felt safe throughout our stay"
